OK – so I have a friend (working mom with 2 kids – she and her husband travel a ton for work) who I have been trying to get to Let’s Dish! for 4 years.  For her 40th, a friend and I gave her a Let’s Dish! Gift Card.  Screaming and kicking and complaining, she finally came with us this past Sunday.  (I should preface her complaints…my kids will never eat this, they only eat chicken nuggets and mac and cheese, I don’t have the time, it’s too much work…).  First, she was shocked on Sunday that it only took less than 1 hour to make the 4 meals.  Loved all the ready-made options and added to her four meals with several others from that selection including sides.  Now, the real test….at home.

For dinner last Sunday, in went the BBQ Chicken Pizza.  The kids loved it.  Next, Asian BBQ Pork Wraps….another winner.  But the one that surprised her…..

She came home late last night to see the dinner table set, her husband had made the dinner and prepared it as the directions suggested.  In horror, she realized that he had put the sauce on top of the steak and she was sure the dinner was now ruined and the kids would never eat it.  She decided to try and have the kids eat it without making any changes.  Her 7 year-old daughter who according to my friend “…won’t try anything new”, takes one bite and puts her fork down, looks at her mother and says “Mom, this is a little slice of heaven!”

She is now a “Disher!” and has offered to put her child/story/comments in ads….as she says “Let’s Dish! is like a little piece of heaven!”.
