Will there be dishes for post weight loss surgery people? I had weight loss surgery in March and I can’t eat foods high in fat or sugar. I am looking for wonderful dishes low in fat (3-6 grams) and made with splenda.
Hi Ingrid!
Thanks for your interest in Let’s Dish! I can tell you that while we do not have specific meals catering toward folks who have had weight loss surgery, we have many meals that are considered low in fat! All nutritional information that you need is posted on our website for each meal. When reviewing the monthly menu, click on the “more information” icon and that will display nutritional info.
The beauty of Let’s Dish! is that you can customize your meals! For example, when preparing your meals during an in-store session, you can cut back or omit any ingredient that you’d like to! If a meal has added sugar in it, just omit the sugar! If it calls for a tablespoon of olive oil, the choice is yours to add it all, just a little, or none at all!
I would lastly like to mention to you that all of our nutrition information is based on 6 servings per meal. From what I understand, post weight-loss surgery patients rarely eat a full serving, thus cutting your nutrition information even lower!
Ingrid, if I can answer any further questions for you or help you further with anything, please feel free to contact me directly at holly.wildberger@letsdish.net.
We look forward to Dishing with you soon!
