Community involvement has always been a key focus of the Let’s Dish! organization in the mid-Atlantic.

Throughout the years, we’ve been involved with several charities, non-profit organizations and community groups, and we’ve helped them to raise awareness about their cause, raise funds for their purposes and bring community members together.

Though the full list would be too long to post, here are just a few of the organizations we’ve worked with over the past 4 years:

• The American Heart Association
• The Red Devils
• Anna’s House
• Celebrate Mama
• Annie’s Playground
• American Cancer Society
• Y-Me National Breast Cancer Society

…as well as many local church groups, sports teams, schools and families in need in our own communities. Let’s Dish! has also created it’s own breast cancer awareness and support initiative - the Pink Dish! Campaign - which provides Let’s Dish! meals at no cost to breast cancer survivors and their families in the mid-Atlantic.

One of our current partnerships is with John’s Hopkins. Through customer support, we are donating many meals to families who have a family member being treated at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, MD. Many families travel from across the country to be treated at this facility, and stay in the Hackerman-Patz and Joanne Rockwell Memorial Houses, which provide overnight accommodations and are “homes away from home” specifically built for those receiving medical treatment at The Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center.

Customers in our Baltimore and Timonium stores can prepare additional meals for $15 a piece during their sessions. The meals will be collected and donated to the families staying at the two memorial houses while their family members are treated at the Sidney Kimmel Center.
