Not sure what Facebook is? You might ask your local teenager (they’re probably on it right now). But Facebook is not just for kids anymore. Founded in 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg (at the time still a Harvard undergrad… still much younger, but now much richer than any of us!), this free website allows users to connect with one another through associations called “groups” and “networks.” Facebook groups and networks can be based on just about any social connection. You may be surprised to find your high school, college or even your neighborhood on Facebook. Groups and networks make it easy to connect with old friends… hadn’t spoken to my prom date in 15 years until she found me on Facebook and sent me pictures of her kids! She’s not alone. According to Wikipedia, Facebook has 64 million active users, uploading 14 million photos every single day. Wow.
