We’re back with our “gadget gal,” Holly Cole, with another recommendation! This time, her finds are for an adventure in your own backyard. Whether your quest is to be an all-year, outdoor cook or, like the best of us, a fair weather friend of the grill, here are some gadgets we love:

The season is turning, and it’s time to get out and get grilling. This month at Let’s Dish!, there are several delicious, grillable recipes – and these gadgets will make it fun and convenient to cook and serve. And, when you think about it, this makes the meal relatively effortless altogether since making the meal was quick and easy at your last Let’s Dish! session!

To start, check out 4theGrill.com. They offer many styles of grill lights, an accessory many don’t even know exist. These lights come in handy when you want to grill and the sun is going down or you just want to sit in the back yard while the kids play. Oh, we have all heard those words, ” just a little longer mom, pl-eee-ase.” With this light you can let the kids have fun till the sun goes down.

Another great site for grill tools and gadgets is Chef’s Catalog (Side Note: I’m sure I’ll be back here for recommendations on other items because it is a foodie’s dream website, but today our focus is on griling!). They offer the best item yet – an Outdoor Pizza Grill – and I can’t wait to get mine just in time or BBQ chicken pizza on the April Let’s Dish! menu. This cool – and rather impressive looking – gadget will let you grill your pizza right on your gas grill. Now what’s better than that? Not much as I can see.

Chefs Catalog also has Laser Thermometers so you can get your meal cooked to just the right temperature for your dining pleasure. Sure, you can do that with an old-fashioned thermometer, but this tells you the temperature in a half a second!

Finally, the Ultimate Fish Grilling Basket will come in handy this spring and summer. It will hold several individual fish fillets or one entire salmon fillet. Try it with one of the yummy Let’s Dish salmon choices this month and in future months.
