As I was revamping my Resolutions into “To Be’s” after contemplating yesterday’s Resolution Solution, a New York Times article came zinging across my email:

Taking “to be” to a much deeper level, Parker-Pope’s article focuses on the psychiatry of clutter - that people may need to “fundamentally change their behavior” if they truly seek an organized life.

Uh oh - rewriting my psyche is bound to be a lot more difficult than my most recent resolution edits.I thought I’d share with all of you - and invite you to comment and weigh in on the topic of a cluttered closet vs. a cluttered mind (and, no, the latter does not come with Russell Crowe).

p.s. In the spirit of honesty and my 2008 Resolution to seek opportunities for personal improvement from all sources, the article came from my mother - and I don’t take it personally!
